• He was in Freeheat with Ben Lurie, Nick Sanderson (ex JAMC drummer and singer in Earl Brutus) and Romi Mori and toured from 2000-2003 across the UK, USA, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Spain. • He worked with his sister Linda on her Sister Vanilla album, Little Pop Rock which was released in Japan in 2005 and will be released in 2007 in the UK.
• He worked with Ben to produce the mini album A Long Way To Nowhere for Portugese punk rockers, the Parkinsons.
• Sung Detroit on the Primal Scream album Evil Heat and has appeared live on stage with them a few times.
• Tompaulin's Give Me A Riot In The Summertime was recorded with Jim and Ben.
• Seelenluft asked him to provide vocals for the single I Can See Clearly Now in 2004.
• Jim lives in Devon with his wife Julie and daughters Simone (born 2003) and Candice (born 2007).

• In 2007 Phil was back in the ranks playing bass in the Jesus and Mary Chain.
